Leadership Alabama’s ALI class program is open to all who meet the qualifications adopted by the Board of Directors, regardless of sex, race, religion or national origin. Participants are selected on the basis of the ALI application submitted to include both professional and civic leadership.
The Process:
A nomination form must be received by June 20, 2026 for a person to be considered for ALI Class IX.
Nominees will receive an ALI application Monday, June 22, 2026 to return by Friday, July 10, 2026.
The ALI Selection Committee will review the applications, then submit the list of potential class members to the Board of Directors for approval.
All applications are given thorough consideration, but not all will be selected to participate in the class. The Leadership Alabama Board of Directors will approve the final class roster. Consideration will be given to building a class that represents Alabama's various aspects, both professionally and geographically, as well as in the areas of age, gender and ethnicity.
Leadership Alabama will contact all ALI applicants by Friday, August 28, 2026.
